Southern Cross : Built in Perth Western Australia of aluminum, weighing 32 tones with a single mast which is 97 feet high. Southern Cross was built to the Americas Cup 12metre rule specification and is 68 feet in length.

Southern Cross was Australia's 4th challenge for the America's Cup and the 1st aluminum 12 metre America's Cup Race Yacht in the world. Southern Cross beat the competing nations to win the right to challenge for the cup against the Americans.

If you are after an exciting sailing experience with a smaller group, then Southern Cross is perfect. Southern Cross's conversion to an overnight charter vessel took 2 years and included new cockpits, new coach roof, new diesel engine and cabin fit out downstairs to make her into a comfortable yacht for overnight sailing charters. Southern Cross has single berths and three double berths.

Southern Cross provides 2 and 3 day sailing adventures in the Whitsunday's. Each trip takes up to 14 guests on the adventure of a lifetime. Guests are welcome to assist sail Southern Cross, including hoisting and trimming sails, or taking the helm to steer her around the islands.
